Outcomes

Courage Center has made a commitment to both outcomes and research. We invest in the resources necessary to measure regularly, then use groups of clinicians to inform program improvements. Consistent measurement enables us to identify areas of excellence, and areas to be improved. Then we measure the effects of the changes we've made.

Outcomes Research Supports Courage Center's Work

As outcome measurement in post-acute settings becomes more common, we are planning to benchmark more of our programs with others in the community. We focus on five general areas, including: advocacy, mind-body interaction, refugee health, health, wellness and fitness, and drivers assessment and training.  These research areas fit with Courage Center’s mission, and allow us to concentrate on the unique service and client mix at our facility.
