Hours:On Call
Description:Courage Center is currently looking for an Admissions Specialist to work on an on call basis to fill in during staff absences. The Admissions Specialist will coordinate and manage all components of the admissions process for Courage Residence. Primary responsibility to maintain, under the direction of the Director of Courage Residence, an occupancy level required to balance budget projections. In addition, the Admissions Specialist is also responsible for the coordination of all admissions functions for Courage Residence. The Admissions Specialist also serves as the marketing representative for the Courage Residence with referral agencies, community representatives and potential clients.
Requirements - Education and/or Experience:1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in social services/health care arena.2. Good organization and problem solving abilities.3. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.4. Ability to form positive working relationships in a multi-discipline setting.5. Demonstrated ability to problem solve in situations requiring multiple activities going on at the same time, giving priority to multiple systems, and creative approaches to problem solving.6. Creativity in terms of resource management.7. Good presentation skills.8. Strong organizational competency9. Ability to work under deadlines10. Ability to provide support to clients and families essential.11. Preferred knowledge of reimbursement systems.
