Amanda Koethe has been an employee of Courage Center since December 2006. Currently working as a fitness aquatic specialist, Amanda is putting knowledge into practice in the pool and fitness center.
Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, an associates degree in health and exercise science from Globe College and recently attained her health specialist certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Amanda is trained in Watsu, specifically, Basic Watsu and Watsu I, and has had supervised study in adapted Watsu.
Amanda was drawn to aquatic body work because of the serenity it brings to the receiver and giver alike. This practice allows for the deep relaxation and freedom of the body that many people have a difficult time achieving on their own. To be able to aid in this process is very special to Amanda and is what keeps her commitment to the work so powerful.
