Courage Center Burnsville
Free speech screenings in December and January
Children ages 3-7 can receive a free speech screening to identify possible deficits in speech and language at an early age. Addressing problem areas in speech and language better prepares a child for kindergarten and continued success in primary education. Contact Kimberly Robran at 952-953-5366 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
Now in a new location
Courage Center Burnsville has relocated to 12400 Portland Ave. S. The new clinic is off County Road 13 and Portland Ave., about two miles north of the old location. We have more parking space and we're closer to the heart of Burnsville. Our new clinic is in a building with lots of natural light and green spaces, making it a better healing environment. Here's a map showing the new location.

Our Approach to Therapy
Courage Center Burnsville is a resource and rehabilitation center for infants, children, teens and adults with disabilities, delays in development, brain injuries, sensory impairments and other health limitations.
Our clinic takes a holistic approach that includes family involvement. We have a social worker, pediatric care navigator and psychologist on staff to help provide support to families and individuals we serve. We coordinate a variety of support groups to help with the adjustment and management of a disability, as well as offer enrichment classes to enhance development.

Courage Center Burnsville Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart of Courage Center Burnsville. Without them we would not be able to offer such a variety of programs and events. We rely on volunteers to instruct, assist, and provide leadership in our programs. We need volunteers to help with daily tasks in reception, filing and office work. We also utilize volunteers for the cars program at the Minnesota Zoo and have special events in the south metro area throughout the year. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, contact Kurt Wiger at 763-520-0222 or Kurt.Wiger@CourageCenter.org.
