Getting It Write for Printing - Ages 6-12
Assist an occupational therapist in this six-week handwriting program designed for children whose mild neurological differences result in difficulty mastering handwriting skills. Each class consists of fun sensory and motor activities that impact a child’s handwriting abilities, including tactile discrimination, hand strengthening, fine motor coordination, visual perception, motor planning and more.
Days/Times: Mondays, June 14-July 26, 4-5 p.m.

Handwriting Without Tears for Printing - Age 6-12
Assist an occupational therapist in this six-week handwriting program is for children with difficulties mastering handwriting skills. Each class consists of fun sensory and motor activities. Your child must be able to recognize letters of the alphabet and have had beginning instruction in letter formation.
Days/Times: Wednesdays, June 16–July 21, 10-11 a.m.

Pre-Driving Classes - Ages 15-21
Assist an an occupational therapist with this class geared for teenagers in high school to young adults in transition who have a mild disability. This six-week interactive class will increase understanding of the cognitive, visual, physical and social aspects of pre-driving. Class activities focus on the following pre-driving skills: visual search and reaction, sign recognition, pedestrian traffic safety, simulated components of driving, and coordination activities using head, upper and lower body movements.
Days/Times: Tuesdays, June 15-July 20, 2-3 p.m.

Let’s Get Together - Ages 3
Assist a speech therapist with this class for children who would benefit from guided communication interactions with peers. It focuses on improving your child’s ability to initiate communication and maintain it appropriately. The rules of conversation are addressed throughout each session, and each session includes a "getting to know you" activity, social stories and role-playing activities.
Days/Times:
Ages 3-7: Mondays, June 14-July 26, 4-5 p.m. (closed July 5)
Ages 7-12: Wednesdays, June 16-July 21, 11-noon
13 Teen Class: Tuesdays, June 15-July 20, 1-2 p.m.

Social Sensory Eating - Ages 6-10
Assist with this six-week class for children with oral-motor and sensory feeding issues. It uses the SOS (sequential oral sensory) approach to feeding and is for kids who have gone through the program before or have worked individually with a speech therapist on these skills. It is meant to maintain the child’s skills for visual, tactile, olfactory, motor and taste of various food choices in a social environment. Cost: $220
Days/Times: Wednesdays, June 16-July 21, noon-1 p.m.
