Two additional adult sessions at Camp Courage North
There are a limited number of spaces available in Courage Center Camps’ 2012 camp season for adult campers with disabilities. So apply EARLY. Applications are accepted until sessions are filled. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Acceptance is based on our ability to meet the needs of campers and receipt of completed application materials and down payment. A confirmation packet, which includes notice of tentative acceptance, transportation information, a health form and other information specific to the session(s) for which you have registered is sent once the completed application and down payment is received.
Once your application has been processed, you have been tentatively accepted to a session. You then need to have your doctor complete a health form and provide a copy of your medical insurance card. The health form gives us the information to make a decision on final acceptance and ensures we have necessary information on file in case of medical need while at camp.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Courage Center Camps, you must:
-
have a physical disability or visual impairment;
-
have a communication disorder;
-
have a learning disability; or
-
be deaf or hard of hearing.
A down payment of $200 must accompany your completed application. You will not be registered for your camp session without the $200 down payment. Limited scholarship grants are available to assist with the remainder of the session fee. To apply for a scholarship grant you must indicate this and give us complete information on our Camp Application.
