Community Reintegration

The Community Reintegration Program (CRP) is an intensive program designed to maximize the abilities and independence of those who have sustained mild-to-moderate brain injuries, as well as those who have congenital conditions affecting cognition, or cognitive issues that significantly impact their ability to function successfully in day-to-day life.

Toward Functioning Successfully in Everyday Life

Individuals typically attend the program three days per week, at least five hours per day, for about six months.  Participants establish individual goals while also working in a group setting to receive support, gain independence and improve their pre-vocational skills. 

Other services, such as speech therapy, occupational therapy or psychotherapy can be added as needed.

The Community Reintegration Program is a medically prescribed service. Fees are billed to third-party payers, such as Medical Assistance, Minnesota Disability Health Options Program and Worker's Compensation. Medical Assistance requires a neuropsychological evaluation within six months of an individual starting CRP. Neuropsychological evaluations can be scheduled at Courage Center.
