Debra Waggoner

Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness

Deb Waggoner is a seasoned leader with experience in managing strategy alignment, organizational development, leadership/management development, recruitment and employment, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, and decision support.  Prior to coming to Courage Center, Waggoner worked in various human resources and organizational development positions for the Benedictine Health System in Duluth from 2001-2003, and Allina Health System/Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis in from 1981 to 2001.  She was a faculty member for the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry from 1974-1981, and at the University of Iowa from 1973-74.

Waggoner has a masters of business administration-management degree from the University of St. Thomas; a masters of arts in adult and continuing education from the University of Minnesota; and a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa.
