Telemedicine Volunteers
The Courage Center Health Care Home Telemedicine Volunteer team invites you or someone you know to consider becoming a telemedicine volunteer. If you possess a comfort level with technology, the essential skills of building trustworthy relationships, and the confidence to support clients by facilitating in-home video conferences with their Primary Care Providers from the Courage Center Clinic –then this may be the adventure for you!
Many of our clients’ physical mobility limits cause extraordinary challenges in the amount of time, energy and transportation expenditures they deal with to manage their health and independence. Our telemedicine volunteers reduce those barriers and empower our clients to better manage their health, reduce hospitalizations, and diminish the unhealthy effects of social isolation.
Recruitment will close by Sept. 1 for the 20-hour October-November training session. If you are interested, please contact the Telemedicine Volunteer Coordinator, Cathleen Godsall, 763-520-0241 or Cathleen.Godsall@CourageCenter.org
