Creating more than $2 million in value

Each year, more than 2,200 people participate in Courage Center's national award-winning volunteer program, contributing more than 92,000 hours of service - the equivalent of nearly 44 staff members and more than $2 million per year.

Serving as interns

Did you know that Courage Center is an active teaching institution?  During 2011, 128 students completed an internship from universities around the United States.

Groups play an active role 

During 2011, 39 groups contributed 6,000 hours assisting with camp, assistive technology projects, Cars for Courage and special events.

Ambassadors for Courage Center

Trained volunteer guides and speakers assisted with 82 Connect with Courage Tours, speaking engagements and fairs in 2011.
