Description:The Transitional Rehabilitation Program (TRP) is a 48-bed skilled nursing facility. The TRP is a short-term inpatient rehabilitation unit that serves people with spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, neuromuscular conditions and congenital disabilities. LPNs provide direct client care services. LPNs work with RNs, nursing assistants, physicians and other rehabilitation team members to assist people with disabilities in gaining greater independence.Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successful completion of licensing exam for a Licensed Practical Nurse. Experience in rehabilitation, long term care, or acute care nursing preferred. General knowledge of rehabilitation nursing and philosophy preferred. Basic computer skill required. Experience working with persons with disabilities and persons of diversity is highly valued. Licenses:Must have current licensure in good standing in Minnesota as a Licensed Practical Nurse, maintenance of ongoing continuing education and current CPR certification.PLEASE NOTE: You must list all applicable certifications, licenses or registrations held on your application to be considered for this position!
