Marcy Buckner, MSW, joined Courage Center in 1994 as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, providing individual and group psychotherapy to those seeking outpatient mental health services. Her specialties include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to individuals challenged with a variety of disabilities, including brain injury. In addition, Buckner has worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and various congenital disabilities. She also is responsible for overseeing the clinical social work internship program, supervising graduate students pursuing education in the field of clinical social work.
Buckner also is an adjunct faculty member at St. Catherine University/University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Social Work.
When she is not working, Buckner enjoys running, cooking and spending time with her husband and four children.
