Outcomes and Research Project Specialist - Golden Valley

Hours:
Full Time, 40 hours/week

Description:  
This position serves as the clinical representative on outcomes and research projects in compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) standards and guidelines.   The position requires strong leadership as well as excellent analytical, organizational, presentation, oral and written communication skills to ensure effective and professional interaction with people from all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor selection and recruiting efforts for projects.  Ensure compliance with IRB, terms of grant and legal constraints.  Identifies and resolves compliance issues, constraints and conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Determines appropriateness of clients for research by conducting interviews, clinical assessments and chart reviews. 
  • Supervises data collection and analysis, obtains qualitative and quantitative information, analyzes data using analytical software and reviews results and presents in required formats.
  • Completes research grant proposals and all project evaluation reports to meet deadlines of funders.
  • Conducts site visits to monitor work in all locations.

Education/Skills:

  • Master’s degree required in public health, clinical science or another scientific discipline. 
  • 4-7 years experience working in health outcomes research strongly preferred.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS and Word.
  • Knowledge about disability required.

Additional Certifications, Licenses and/or Registrations:
PT/OT/RN preferred
