About Power Soccer

Power soccer is a competitive team sport played by athletes of all ages who have various disabilities. Each team consists of four players who use power wheelchairs equipped with a metal guard on the front to attack, defend and maneuver an oversized soccer ball to score points on a goal.

This action packed sport combines the skill of wheelchair use with the speed of a power chair (6.5 mph) and the competitive spirit of the players to produce a fast-paced exciting competition.
