Description: The Transitional Rehabilitation Program (TRP) is a 48-bed skilled nursing facility. The TRP is a short-term inpatient rehabilitation unit that serves people with spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, neuromuscular conditions and congenital disabilities. RNs provide direct client care services. RNs work with LPNs, nursing assistants, physicians and other rehabilitation team members to assist people with disabilities in gaining greater independence.
Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successful completion of licensing exam for a Registered Nurse. Experience in rehabilitation, long term care, or acute care nursing preferred. General knowledge of rehabilitation nursing and philosophy preferred. Basic computer skills required. Experience working with persons with disabilities and persons of diversity is highly valued.Licenses:Must have current licensure in good standing in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse, maintenance of ongoing continuing education and current CPR certification.PLEASE NOTE: You must list all applicable certifications, licenses or registrations held on your application to be considered for this position!
