Speech/Language Therapy

Speech-language therapists work to improve communication skills in expressive language (speaking/writing), receptive language (listening/reading) and nonverbal communication (facial expression/gestures). They also work on swallowing problems and cognitive retraining to build skills in association, attention, memory, sequencing, problem solving and abstract verbal reasoning.

For Adolecents and Adults

Speech and language problems may occur during early childhood, or arise during adulthood as the result of a disease, a stroke or traumatic brain injury. Courage Center provides therapy for all age groups, in our clinic and at home for special medical needs.  Common areas we address are:
