Hair StylistCourage Transitional Rehabilitation program is looking for a hair stylist to come to Courage Center to cut/style clients’ hair as getting out is difficult/costly in the early stages of rehabilitation. Preferred qualifications: professional hair stylist, interest in working with people with disabilities, and good communication skills. Haircuts would take place at Courage Center. Evening & Saturday Leisure OutingsYou can help clients with physical disabilities gain more independence by assisting them on community outings (shopping, dinning, movies, sporting events). Volunteers will help the clients develop community resources and refine adaptive life skills in a socially relaxing atmosphere. We are looking for volunteers who have good leadership/problem solving skills, patience, and are interested in helping clients gain independence for return to community living. Training provided. Games Club Relax and enjoy the lost art of tabletop games and movies along with our clients who are exploring new ways to spend their hard-earned leisure time. Need to be outgoing and self-directed.
