Drivers Assessment and Training Services
For Teens, Seniors and People with Disabilities
Need help with driving skills? Get it with Courage Center’s Driver Assessment and Training Program. It meets a range of abilities, ages and needs. The comprehensive assessment consists of clinical testing and behind-the-wheel driver-performance assessment.
Pre-driving training using a driver simulator is available for individuals who are not ready to go behind the wheel.
Our experienced driving teams are occupational therapists, certified driver rehabilitation specialists and state licensed instructors. Our driving staff has specialized training in the evaluation of seniors and individuals with neurological or general medical disabilities.
We offer a state-of-the-art assessment and training with adapted vehicles. Involvement with your family and physician is encouraged, but not required. The cost varies, and in some cases may be covered by the Minnesota Division of Rehabilitation Services or worker’s compensation. AAA members receive a discount on evaluations.
