Brain Injury Rehabilitation

For Stroke, Trauma, Tumor or Other Brain Injury

No two individuals are alike. No two brain injuries are alike. That’s why appropriate treatment and rehabilitation will vary. More therapy does not make a person "better," but appropriate therapy may result in improvement.

Courage Center uses a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team approach in the delivery of client-centered services for individuals with brain injuries. Services are offered on an outpatient, inpatient or at-home basis. Our inpatient Transitional Rehabilitation Program provides a good option for many clients who are ready to leave the hospital but not yet ready to go home.

The Neuro Navigator and the Neuro Comprehensive Team coordinate services to meet the client's changing needs.

Courage Center offers complete post-acute care for persons with a brain injury resulting from trauma, stroke, tumor or another cause. We focus on return to participation in home and community living through our Community Reintegration Program.

In a typical year we serve more than 500 clients with brain injuries. Our specialized and experienced staff, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and a large group of clients with similar injuries allow Courage Center to provide a powerful rehabilitation community.

Courage Center has more than 30 staff members who are certified by the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS).
