Mark started at Courage Center Duluth in January 2010. He is responsible for developing, coordinating, managing and evaluating all Courage Center Duluth autism programs. He has been managing youth development and adult fitness programs around the Duluth area for more than 15 years, and brings a wealth of coordination and organizational development skills and experience to Courage Center Duluth.
Mark looks forward to expanding the multitude of programming opportunities that Courage Center Duluth provides to the Arrowhead Region.
Prior to joining the staff at Courage Center Duluth, Mark was Program Director and Youth Development Director for the Duluth Area Family YMCA. In between two separate five-year stints at the YMCA he worked as a para-professional, classroom teacher and Dean of Students at two Duluth area schools. He attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and has additional educational training from both the Harvard Family Resource Center and the "Quality Matters" program of the University of Minnesota.
