Golf

Share your golf skills with adults and youth who have physical disabilities to increase their golf skills and game knowledge.
Time:  9-10:30 a.m.
Dates:  Wednesdays, June 13-Aug. 29
Location:  First Tee of Eagle Lake, Plymouth

Water Ski

Assist youth and adults with physical disabilities to learn to water ski.  Volunteers are needed as skier assistants, tow boat assistants and to be on the safety team.
Time:  5 p.m.-dusk
Dates:  Wednesdays, June 20-Aug. 15
Location:  Lake Owasso, Roseville

Youth Softball

Share your softball experience with youth by assisting with fielding drills, softball skills and assisting at tournaments this summer.
Time:  6:30-8 p.m.
Dates:  Mondays, June 4 – Aug. 6
Location:  Brooklyn Park Community Center

Youth Track and Field

Assist with coaching, drills and timing of youth, ages 8 to 19 years, to prepare for competition with the goal of reaching the Junior National Games. 
Times: 9-11 a.m.
Dates:  Saturdays, April 28-July 21
Location:  St. Louis Park High School Track

Dates:  Wednesdays, May 2- July 18

April - July Sports and Recreation Special Events

Bike and Adapted Sports Expo

Set up, registration, lunch and clean up, distribute bike helmets, assist vendors.
Location:      Boy Scouts base camp at Ft. Snelling in Bloomington
Time:           Sunday, April 29,  10 a.m.-4 p.m.

National Power Soccer Tournament

Assist with registration, concessions, lunches, T-shirt sales.
Location:      Colin Powell Center at 2924 4th Ave. So., Minneapolis, MN 
Time:           Wednesday, June 20, 5-9 p.m. – set up
Thursday, June 21 – Saturday, June 23, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day

Metro Sports Camp

Assist campers one to one with various sporting activities, such as canoeing, softball and waterskiing.
Location:      Varies by day, must provide own transportation
Time:           Monday, July 16 – July 20
Volunteer Training: Wednesday, July 11, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Courage Country Championships

Assist with registration, timing, scoring and assisting the athletes and coaches.
Location:      Swimming at St. Catherine University
Time:           Sunday, May 20, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Location:      Coon Rapids Archery Range
Time:           Saturday, June 2 – 8:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Location:      Track and Field at St. Louis Park High School
Time:           Sunday, June 3 – 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
